What is prebonded?
Let’s get something straight before we start… it’s not glue!!
So what the hell is it you ask!? Well every type of extension on the market has what we call an attachment method. And prebonded is a hard keratin attached at the top of the extension.
What makes this better than other methods available? Well, this unique attachment is the only type of hair extension that can be made to fit your hair exactly. So whether you have thick hair, fine hair or weak & brittle hair, prebonded is perfectly matched. It causes minimal damage and much more comfortable to wear.
Also prebonded is less maintenance, due to what it’s made from it grows down with your hair. Meaning no regular visits to the salon! Oh did I mention the keratin is breathable too, so when they are removed there is no evidence they were ever there.

Fun Fact About Hair Extensions!
Extensions have a much longer history than you realise, and it seems that our ancestors were just as obsessed with having a good hair day as us!
The first record of extensions dates back to ancient Egypt and was often only ever for those of great wealth and nobility. In Egyptian times body hair was a big no no, but thick hair on the head was seen as a status symbol. Wigs and hair extensions were worn by both men and women such as politicians, pharaohs and queens.
When you think of ancient Egypt, Cleopatra immediately springs to mind. Cleopatra’s hair was likely enhanced using hair extensions and wigs to create her now iconic, thick, braided mane.
Archaeologists have since found remains that show sheep’s wool was braided into the hair in order to add thickness (sound familiar?!). This is the earliest known start of hair extensions.
Egyptians are also credited with inventing wigs. Wigs were usually worn for ceremonial purposes and were created using human hair, vegetable fibres and sheep’s wool. They were often attached using beeswax.

My gorgeous little studio is based in Copthorne, West Sussex but I welcome all from Surrey, West Sussex, London & far beyond.
If you are coming from the M23 Copthorne roundabout head north up Brookhill road, the house is on the left three house up past the turning West Way. If you are coming from Horley/Shipleybridge or Crawley Down/East Grinstead, the house is on the right four down from the Prince Albert pub. There is plenty of parking on the drive.
